Beacon Hill Cookies
Makes 3 dozen
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 egg whites
dash salt
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon vinegar
3/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1. Melt chocolate over hot, not boiling water. (Or 30 sec on

2. Beat egg whites with a dash of salt until foamy. Gradually
add sugar, beating well, then beat until stiff peaks form.
3. Beat in vanilla and vinegar. Fold in melted chocolate and
nuts.
4. Drop by teaspoonfuls on well greased cookie sheet. Bake at
350 degrees F for 10+ mins. Remove from pan *immediately*.
Decorate with nuts if desired.
