Pasta Recipes from Rina's Kitchen


Great Mac and Cheese 
Makes 6 servings 

1 (8 ounce) package macaroni pasta
3 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup cubed ham                   
                   
1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain. 
2. Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan pan over med
   heat. Add onions, and sauté. Stir in flour and salt. 
3. Add milk and macaroni to saucepan, and bring to a boil.
   Reduce heat, and cover. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring
   occasionally. 
4. Add cheese, and stir until cheese melts. Serve.
