Aunt Zula's Christmas Cutouts 
Makes 2 dozen

1 cup shortening
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
                   
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 
2. Cream sugar and shortening together. Add eggs and dry
   ingredients. Add the milk last. 
3. No need to chill this dough, simply roll out to 1/4" 
   thickness, cut out and bake 10-12 mins.
